Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed a Degree in a relevant discipline or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
Responsibilities:
- Handle the day-to-day processing of employer-sponsored nonimmigrant and immigrant cases (e.g., H-1B, J-1, O-1, TN, E-3, etc.). Develop and implement strategic and operational changes to the program’s policies, processes, and procedures
- Monitor and track all active U.S. and global immigration cases and resolve any escalations that occur
- Answer day-to-day immigration questions from internal stakeholders and outside vendors
- Develop and deliver training for Recruiting, HR, employees, and managers
- Provide timely immigration-related updates to key stakeholders about any regulatory changes affecting the Company
- Provide immigration data and metrics to internal stakeholders as needed
- Ensure I-9 compliance for all new hires and employees requiring I-9 verification
- Partner with outside immigration counsel, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth and timely filing of employee-driven immigration petitions
- Understand the sector and Enterprise talent strategies/needs and translate them into immigration strategies that deliver relevant solutions
- Confer with senior business and HR leaders to identify strategic talent gaps and drive an effective and efficient immigration strategy in support of the business
- Lead the improvement using best practices, the infrastructure, and the service delivery model of the Immigration function, including process flow, policy, roles, and responsibilities across the enterprise
- Ensure that our suppliers and internal service model provide a high-quality experience to employees, managers, Talent Acquisition, HR, and all other business partners
- Work across key stakeholder and partner groups from the business and other corporate services functions
- Create budget data and follow
- Outline a compliance strategy, and cadence of audits to ensure compliance with all immigration rules and regulations globally
- Develop an effective data analytics and reporting infrastructure for the Immigration function
