- Azure Data Architect
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed a Degree in a relevant field or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end solutions and delivery of data transformation programs, and small and nimble data initiatives to realize quick gains, while working with internal teams and Partners to bring the best tools and delivery methods
- Understanding client requirements, and developing data strategy, architecture, and solutions that meet client requirements
- Apply knowledge and explain the benefits to organizations adopting strategies relating to NextGen / New Age Data capabilities covering data supply chain, data governance, and data ops
- Identify the right technology solutions for the above
- Work on opportunity pursuits to shape and solution data programs, engage with key client executives and effectively communicate value propositions on the new age data capabilities
- Document all Data and analytics components of an overall solution architecture on large projects
- Communicate a detailed ETL architecture and implementation plan to ETL Developers
- Work in building core data assets with Azure technologies
Mandatory Skills:
- Extensive experience with Industry leadership in the fields of database, data warehousing, data integration, data virtualization, and/or data sciences on-premise and cloud
- Extensive experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments
- A strong understanding of Microsoft technology; experience in building scalable, resilient, and secured applications using Microsoft Power Platform, and Microsoft Azure
- Thorough understanding of cloud technologies, and broader ecosystem including server, storage, and security considerations with experience in Azure Technologies
- Experience in minimum two of Azure technologies like Azure SQL server, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Data Pipelines and Transformations, Azure Data Lake and Blob storage, and Data visualization using Power BI
- Prior hands-on experience in data warehousing design, tuning, and ETL/ELT development with experience in multiple ETL tools like SQL Server and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Experience in any event-based systems using Service Bus, Event Hub, Grid, Functions, streaming Analytics, etc
- Experience in languages like Python, C#, and .Net. And exposure to Java/Scala
- Experience in CI/CD using Azure DevOps and various strategies for reducing the time to market for Customers
- Excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to build strong relationships across the organization
- Ability to communicate complex topics to an audience with various functional knowledge
- Experience in any event-based systems using Service Bus, Event Hub, Grid, Functions, streaming Analytics, etc
- Positive attitude with the flexibility and ability to adapt to an ever-changing technology landscape
- Desire to gain breadth and depth of technologies to support customer’s vision and project objectives
