Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science and 1 year of work experience or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
Responsibility:
- Designing, developing, and enhancing the automation frameworks used by the Product testing and development teams
- Collaborating closely with Product stakeholders in creating the automation infrastructure to replicate real-world scenarios
- Reviewing product & system design requirements to come up with efficient automation frameworks or libraries
- Evangelizing the automation frameworks and tools across Akamai
- Working on multiple projects in parallel
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have experience in developing full-stack applications in Python, and JavaScript. And exposure to Container technologies like Dockers
- Have knowledge of SDLC, contemporary QA/test principles, methodologies, and techniques – white box testing and test automation
- Experience using GIT and/or Perforce for version control
- Be passionate about solving large-scale distributed systems problems using Data Structures and Complex Algorithms
- Have exposure or interest in working with internet technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc
